Welcome to the home of Modcan Synthesizers.
Modcan offers modules in 3 different formats.
A series is the original format with banana jacks.
B Series shares the same circuitry but uses a more
friendly rack
sizing and 1/4" jacks.
Euro is the newest Modcan format designed for the
Euro Rack format
Case Option 1: Hand made from 1/2" MDF coated with high quality semi-gloss lacquer to match the module panel finish. Internal Zinc plated steel rails add structural rigidity and supply the threaded holes for module mounting. Cases can be stacked to any height with internal fasteners for accurate alignment. Rear vented aluminum panel keeps cases square and provides mounting holes for fixing cases to wall or other support structure. Shipped assembled with wiring and power distribution cards. See B Series price list for cost per tier.
Case Option 2 Slope Front bottom cabinet: Sloped front design improves accessibility to modules below in a taller system. Made from 1/2" MDF coated with high quality semi-gloss lacquer to match the module panel finish. Internal Zinc plated steel rails add structural rigidity and supply the threaded holes for module mounting. Rear vented aluminum panel keeps cases square and provides mounting holes for fixing cases to wall or other support structure. Image shows the Slope Front bottom cabinet with optional internal Power Supply and one of the standard Option 1 cases on top. These are separate items that can be combined or ordered individually. Shipped assembled with wiring and power distribution cards. See B Series price list for cost.

Rack Option: Fits standard 19" racks. Heavy duty threaded 12 Gauge steel rails with zinc plate finish. Power Distribution Card bracket mounts directly to rails for easy access to module power cables. Keeping power distribution cards local to modules means shorter length power cables. Voltage drop is minimized and proper star grounding is easily maintained. Picture left shows two kits with brackets connected together. The top and bottom rails are not shown.
